I wanted to capture the fluid strength of this monument. With triangular bases, cladded with rectangular plates of stainless steel, sharp corners, and yet, an arch, curved with grace, a parable of earth and heaven. A couple of years after I took this picture, it spoke to me. In it, I saw a buttress (“Arbotante”,) the architectural piece that many years ago became a symbol, elevating in me cathedrals of values, giving me strength to transfer all the load to earth, while looking at the heaven.
Dedicated to Arik, one of my beloved brothers.
